Seems to me there is a misunderstanding going on here. The recommendation feature under discussion would be a link one would click, in order to mark a post as recommended. Something like the Sentiment votes on stock specific threads: siliconinvestor.com Being able to recommend one's own post via this new featured link would make little sense, since everyone would then do it, making for at least one reco per post, across the board.
