People perceive the leader in N Korea as some kind of special meglomaniac with super powers. I have some strange fear of him for some reason. I just didn't want to accept the fact we might have to go to war with N Korea again. I guarantee without the presence of the US in S Korea, S Korea and Japan would be toast. When the time comes for change, I expect N Korea people to explode with happiness about their liberation.

I really doubt that Kim has the love and respect of his people. He has crossed the line so many times that I openly support any decision to take him out. He is begging for an international confrontation. The odds are getting much greater he does something stupid which requires a full scale attack. He is a first class asshole.

Backing down to tyrants is never an option at this point. Withdrawing troops for appeasement is a recipe for international disaster in every sense of the word. I'm sure glad we didn't withdraw troops from Saudi Arabia to appease Bin Laden. This guy in N Korea is 10 times the knucklehead as Bin Laden. He is a bigger shithead because he has no support to back up his statements. Who gives a FUCK about the people of N Korea, except for the S Koreans? They are an isolated shithole with absolutely nothing to show for themselves. They have no food, electricity, or any resources to take care of themselves. They are just like the Germans stuck behind the Iron Curtain after WW2.

We thought we should be afraid of the Commies in Eastern Europe after WW2. I am much less afraid of a single dick-tator in N Korea with no missiles or weapons than I fear Eastern Europe armed with nukes from the Soviets. It's time we started getting used to war again. When it comes right down to it, the only situation that makes me nervous is Iran, which is also begging for regional conflict for no apparent reason. I think they make everybody nervous in their region. IMO, they have a good reason to keep people on edge - to keep oil prices going up even though inventories are above their 5 year average.

Bunch of knuckleheads. The Iranians have everything to lose and nothing to gain in war. The Koreans have everything to win and nothing to lose in war. I guess that puts the odds on N Korea for doing something stupid. The leader keeps suggesting a civilian based target in South Korea or Japan.
