LOL, AS' ex lampooned:John Kerry clones

TRIBUNE-REVIEW...Dimitri Vassilaros
July 17, 2006

The U.S. Senate actually did vote for the security fence along the Mexican border -- before it voted against it.
The Senate overwhelmingly supported it in May, 83-16. But by Thursday it overwhelming refused to pay for it, 71-29.

Is one John Kerry not enough?

Sen. Kerry's flip-flopping redefined "nuance" in his failed 2004 presidential campaign -- "I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it."

Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., who introduced the doomed funding amendment, was quoted in the story saying "If we never appropriate the money needed to construct these miles of fencing and vehicle barriers, those miles of fencing and vehicle barriers will never actually be constructed."

Well, um ... yeah. But what's his point?

All but two Senate Democrats opposed funding the fence. But did anyone seriously believe that the Republican-controlled Senate was any more serious than the Democrats about defending our border with Mexico? If there is such a naive soul no doubt he also believes President George W. Bush was serious in his recent televised speech about defending American sovereignty by stopping illegal immigration.

For the sake of discussion, let's say there is someone that gullible. Will even he still take the assurances of senators and at least this president at face value after learning about an obscure, last-minute provision slipped into the 800-page-plus bill? It requires America to consult with the Mexican government before constructing the fencing.

The transformational anarchy continues. There is strong bipartisan support inside the Beltway to allow Mexico, and perhaps soon Canada, to merge with the U.S. and transform into some sort of Greater America where the Amero will be the coin of the realm and hybrid versions of the new national anthem are sung in English, Spanish and French.

However, if there is no law there is anarchy. So the two dominant political parties and organizations such as Big Media, Big Union, Big Business, Big Agriculature and others who see illegals as cheap labor or future voters must act as if the law still matters. It could get very ugly when Joe Six-pack realizes that he, his family and his nation are the sacrificial lambs when immigration laws are not enforced.

Mr. Six-pack might think it's every man for himself.

So the charade continues: Strong lip service about the importance of law and order while behind the scenes, there's a never-ending conspiracy to do whatever it takes to ignore or undermine laws that impede the morphing of North America into a super state in the New World Order.

But maybe Mr. Six-pack senses that something is very, very wrong in his beloved homeland even if he does not know to label it transformational anarchy. More and more Six-packs are thinking globally while acting locally to save America.

Like in Hazleton, Pa. The city council has adopted a resolution imposing heavy fines for renting to or employing illegal aliens. And for good measure making English the city's official language.

Nationwide citizen/patriot volunteers are defending the border, culture and language of this still great republic. The John Kerrys be damned.
