There's nothing like flip flopping sides in a civil war we let lose. I wonder if there are quiet discussions in the Pentagon about how well Saddam kept things under control.

If some Sunni atrocities against Shiites are reported next week, we can flip to the other side. There's nothing like irritating everyone.

Without enough troops on the ground to help (a few months ago there were rumors of the Navy sending in people to help the Army), soon everyone will have reason to be disappointed. Oh heck, let's do what the rightwing is advocating: invade both Iran and NK tomorrow.

We have gone nuts plus this is the hottest 6 months ever on record.

Gee Whiz. Bring back worries about Monika and Greenspan fretting about how awful it would be if we paid down the national debt.
