I recall reading that they spray it all over the underside of the car--in the nooks and crannies..not sure if that answers your concern.. The product is for deterring professional thieves who do strip and sell because if they know it has been sprayed they know the parts can be identified..

The auto-theft market is the among the first users of the datadot product (so is the marine market (boats)). There is also a consumer market (spray on valuable goods) which is available to anyone now. The DataTraceDNA market broadens to virtually any manufactured good--for controlling inventory, stopping theft, counterfeiting, asset management, and quality control. Big potential it seems to me. The stock has pulled back recently. In Australian the bid ask is around .41-.42 for (DDT.AX). ON the pink sheets it is .23-.36 . Fair market is around .30 here given the exchange rate and the price in Australia. Volume and liquidity should shrink the spread on the pink. Company just raised $8 million in a private placement at .42 (aus).
