Tim, with Mexico and Canada as land neighbors and vast oceans to our east and west, we are one of the safest countries on Earth. If we adopted a more peaceful and benevolent foreign policy, we'd be even safer.

There is NO justification for our military spending, except the military - industrial - government complex American-style fascism (from BOTH parties) that uses fear and false patriotism to coerce and con the people into going along.
