What crisis compared to that in late 2000? "OMG, oil prices are sky high! Those poor folks in the Northeast won't be able to survive the winter!" Seems like the Northeast is doing just fine even with oil twice as much as in late 2000. Of course, I can already predict what your next response will be.

If I remember correctly, oil costs skyrocketed quickly just before the heating season began in 2000 and poor people......you know Ten, the people you don't like to think about......didn't have time to budget. Now, thanks to Bush, they've had plenty of time to budget or lose their house and file bankruptcy. Haven't you noticed.....oil prices have been rising consistently since bush took the WH. Coincidence? I don't think so.
