We will add the Recommend link and counter as appropriate to batch message reading, batch replies reading, user profiles, and possibly search results after we make a database change that needs to be done at night. Will this mean that if I click the link to recommend someone else's post, it will appear in my profile? Only asking because it might make a difference if what I recommend is public information tied to my name rather than just a number added to a count. I would hate to click "recommend" only to discover the moderator was less than enthusiastic about that particular post ;-) I realize that this is probably news to you, but some people can be pretty touchy about these things! While I have your attention, I'd like to demonstrate just how lazy I am about looking up things for myself by asking the following question which I have no doubt has been asked at least 5,000 times before: Has anyone happened to mention that Advanced Search does not allow for a search by date for the year 2005? As you can probably tell by the date stamp of this post, I am not a frequent user of the feature and probably overlooked your repeated answers to this question as "that doesn't affect me." Well, now it does and this inquiring mind wants to know. Thanks in advance Dave!
