> Bush and Harper positions are the same as those taken by the G8, don't spread lies.

Stephen, thanks for your gentlemanly accusation, but here are some recent quotes, and I think that it shows that outside of generic communiques, there is difference of opinion within the G8 on what is the cause and what is the solution of the problems with Israel and its neighbours:

Harper:
"Responsibility for the escalating violence in the Middle East rests entirely with those who have kidnapped Israeli soldiers"

Bush:
"Israel has a right to defend herself."

Putin:
"It is our impression that aside from seeking to return the abducted soldiers, Israel is pursuing wider goals”

Chirac:
“One could ask if today there is not a sort of will to destroy Lebanon, its equipment, its roads, its communication...”

Blair:
"The blunt reality is that this violence is not going to stop unless we create the conditions for the cessation of violence...The only way is if we have a deployment of international forces that can stop bombardment coming into Israel."
