My computer room is the furtherest from the AC and I keep it comfortable by leaving a window open. Two ducts going in and one out. the cold comes in and pushes the hot out the window plus my nasty smoke. Cat old? Old cats like heat, makes their bones feel better. When I had the roof put on I bought the $140 per square shingles instead of the $40 per square shingles that were the high dollar locally. Special order. The company that put them on does 100s of roofs a year and I was the second to use those shingles, the first was a $2 million home.
