Don't blame Harry Truman for the status of the world. And, if World War II had never happened, and if World War I had never happened, and if the Civil War, The revolutionary War----------one could go on ad infiintum to wars of the centuries. Truman did what was necessary at the time and what was right and honorable to give the Jewish people a place to go, a homeland. Unfortuanately, it wasn't so simple as there were others who objected to Israel's existence. mj
