Gasoline should be at around $2.50. The rest is gouging. Under Kerry, the big oil companies would be under investigation with windfall profits taxes as a weapons. They would voluntarily lower prices, the same way they did after Jeffords switched parties giving democrats subpeona powers. They only gouge as much as they do becqause they no there is zero enforcement under Bush-Cheney, their two fellow cronies.

Also, Kerry would have defused much of the tension in the Middle East by now and that also would lessen oil prices. Bushies thrive on war, terror, fears and smears. One result is higher oil prices.
