Tonto, Obviously AS has taken his required tranquilizer...his recent posts convey a calmer demeanor. IMO, the reason he sometimes becomes rattled has to do with a lack of true conviction on his part of his expressed far left point of view. Deep, deep, deep down he really admires Pres Bush, Karl Rove and Anne Coulter. I believe he's making progress however with this personal struggle as demonstrated by one of yesterday's posts. In it AS admitted he would rather not be a knee-jerk Bush hater. Happily everyone at SI appears to be more than willing to help lead him out of a deep crevasse of self-denial.
