re: I saw that show, and a few others that were on Sunday Morning. Rice brought up 9/11 over and over as if that were somehow responsible for Lebanon. She had the same answers on different shows even though they asked different questions, it's obvious she was coached and doesn't actually form any of the foriegn policy herself.

The one thing these guys are really good at is keeping everybody on the same talking points, regardless of the question. It's like getting caught in a really bad echo chamber.

Bush appears to have become a little less of a hawk. Some ascribe it to Condi. It also could be that he just doesn't have the horses for any more wars... or he could just be faking it waiting for the right time.

Who knows with this bunch?

I watched Rice too, on two shows. She said the same things, not really responding to questions, just getting the admin. line out.
They've been totally ignoring the Pal-Israeli problems for nearly six years. With even a minimal involvement, we might not be seeing the current mess. I think Rice was forced to even say she would go there. She doesn't want to get on the list of failures there by actually TRYING.
