When I hear that the UN is getting involved, my first reaction is "oh shit, another opportunity to resolve issues is going to be squandered". It's somewhat disturbing to think that the UN is an obstacle to resolving issues, but it is pretty clear to me that this is the truth.

As a side note, thank god I adhered to the "sell in may and go away" investment strategy this year.

some guy on the radio last night was saying this is all being orchestrated by iran--and they have us right where they want us--all of our troops are in iraq in easy striking distance--doing the job they were never able to do--getting rid of saddam--and they can use there resources elsewhere--gaza-lebanon--he was also saying israel is in serious trouble--they needed to go in right away before they had a chance to dig in--he also said that israel might be forced to nuke iran--and he was not certain that iran didn't have a nuke themselves--also that within syria --there was massive amounts of rockets and weapons of mass destruction stored
bottom line is--this will not get any better--these people need to be wiped off the face of the earth--things otherwise will only get worse as they get stronger weapon wise
and as long as you have the un and countries like france and russia and china cautioning about restraint the world is doomed

sorry about being so negative
