The israelis took out the PLO in lebanon and iranian/syrian backed hizbollah filled the vacuum. I understand that.. But BOTH are merely proxies for the nations that armed and financed them.. namely Syria (and in the case of Hizbullah, Iran). Iran has been financing the majority of Hizbullah's military power. And Iran has been supply/financing much of Syria's military as well.
