Hey Ben! After reading a couple of persuasive essays about anonymity being a major cause of coarse commentary and the utter failure to actually communicate on the part of what sometimes seems like most people on-line, in a spasm of civic do-gooderism, I decided to make this small contribution towards internet civility. Naturally, it has not made a whit of difference, as I am as roundly abused as I was before the change :-) It does, however, raise very interesting money-making opportunities in the emerging field of internet libel. This I had not anticipated, but learned a lot about within a day or two of the change. At the moment, I'm content to just collect the specimens and await further developments.
