I'm thinking that once the producers start announcing earnings in August it should be good for the share price. That happens to coincide with traditional seasonal strength.

QEE (which I hold) had their mill shut down for 12 days in mid-April but with the higher POG and the addition of processing ore for NEM hopefully will make up for the closure. What do you think?

GGG (I have held some of their warrants for what seems like eons.) Their earnings should be good in 2Q06 with the rise in POG. They had record earnings for 1Q06 - net earnings of $1.8 million. Targeted to produce 100,000 oz Au this year and 200,000 - 250,000 by 2009. They have a new CEO, Peter Tagliamonte of Desert Sun although I thought Kerry Knoll was pretty good. John Embry mentioned GGG in his July Investor's Digest report.

FWIW on StockHouse there was speculation that assets of CMM would compliment NGX.

In the meantime I'm trying to master making the tortilla. :o)
