Why support gas gouging, death and pollution? Have you no morality nor common sense? No forward-looking vision? No hope for the overpopulated planet? Instead, you laugh about it? It is a pessimistic lie to say gross pollution and oil addiction are necessary for economic well-being. Brazil has gotten 100% off oil in 20 years. If they can do it, so can we. If Carter's clean fuels programs hadn't been dismantled by reaganites we'd already be 100% off Arab oil and on track to get off all oil as a #1 source of fuel. Instead, we are in huge trouble on everything from wars for oil to rampant gouging at the pump to corrupt oil-connected politicians to accelerating global warming. Like the nation-wide heat wave, forest fires and $3.50 gas?
