Its a standard rule of thumb. You see it every election cycle. Republicans seek to suppress turnout; Democrats seek to boost it. 2000 and 2004 were just more memorable and momentous than usual.

you know they also voted in MD that in certain areas of the State(democrat majority areas) that people can't vote for 7 days this fall. gee is that fair???
