The CBS story did not cover the grossest Bushie election fraud areas, especially the voter roll scrubbing which was highly illegal and unethical and alone denied Gore at least 10,000 votes. The Jeb Bush hired GOP consulting company did not even deny this, just claimed they were obeying orders from Jeb's office to use the loosest possible criteria for cutting names off the state voting rolls.

As a result tens of thousands of mostly black voters lost their right to vote, and many-many complained. As a result the NAACP sued Jeb Bush and won an out of court settlement, making Jeb promise nhever to do it again. But Jeb tried it anyway in 2004 and the Miami Herald caught him. What were Jeb's people doing? Putting together lists of black voters to cut from the rolls. Tens of thouands of them, once again.

Also, remember Gore made a huge error and did not go for a statewide recount. As we found in Ohio, most of the ballot box stuffing came in heavily GOP districts, not the Dem districts Gore thought he could get the most missing votes from.
