<If you know of another way Saddam could have been removed from power>

Bush Sr. did not remove Saddam from power -- do you know why? Because he wasn't stupid and weak minded.

We were attacked. Our first priority had to be terrorism. The war lobby could not get Bush Sr. to do something stupid but they could seize on the emotion of the moment after 9/11 to get Bush Jr. -- a weak President -- to do something stupid and invade Iraq, taking his eye off the terrorism ball and dramatically harming our efforts against terrorism. We had the whole world with us for a few minutes, and what do we do? We listen to ideological idiots who could not see anything for what it really is.

The last thing on our agenda should have been to deal with Iraq -- not the first thing.
