Yes, there have some huge swings not caused by humans. That history site is excellent - I recommend it strongly.

The overwhelming consensus is this warming trend is caused by humans - so we can do something about it if we decide. Maybe we want a warmer earth ... that is possible, although I think the dislocations will have a significant cost.

And yes, there are some scientists who disagree with the consensus. This includes Dr. William Gray (someone I respect), but unfortunately none of these scientists have published any peer reviewed research.
