We're mostly on the same page on this Rich. If I'm not mistaken though, circumstantial evidence is always subordinate to direct evidence. However, circumstantial evidence alone can be sufficient in & of itself to get a conviction. IMO these documents are direct documentary evidence. BTW, some of the documents have been authenticated while others have yet to be authenticated. I'll let the anti-war left attempt to discredit the providence of the authenticity of these documents. Like you I believe they are too diverse & far too many to have them all be forged, etc. And keep in mind that we have only seen the tip of the iceberg re: these documents. We both know why the MSM has blithely ignored these more recently released documents. When they first began to be translated they lightly covered them buried deep inside the "newz". They did their typical one sided (read leftist) dismissal/spin/discredit job on them. But when they continued to be translated & the evidence mounted contrary to their "no WMD", "no ties to terrorist" mantra, they choose to simply ignore all new releases. That's typical of the leftist MSM when faced with mounting evidence contrary to their fixed world view. Pick any subject that we now know where the MSM has been thoroughly discredited & I'll show you another instance where they followed this same MO. They continue to continue to pretend.... I'm torn on why the Bush Admin is not out front presenting these documents to the public. Part of me says they should be doing it loudly & at every possible opportunity. On the other hand I know that they are fully aware that if they did, the MSM & DNC would mount a full assault on the "Bush lied" meme. And we both know that the MSM would have the ability to get their intentionally false & misleading message out there far more often than the Bush Admin could. Even your post shows most folks look the the MSM first & foremost. Besides, most already have their minds made up. There simply isn't enough evidence in any one or two documents (think of short attention spans - you can't get most folks to wade through 40 or 50 documents) to sway already fixed partisan minds. And that is one reason why this thread exists. I know that for every major political issue that the MSM, DNC & partisan leftists have led the way lying, misleading, distorting & deceiving America even if they have to withhold key facts that discredit the BS they're pushing. We have been buried in their one sided world view that unquestioningly presents the leftist side as fact and ignores or openly dismisses all other views. I also know most folks have the attention span of a nat. This thread is here for those folks who are willing to take the time to wade through volumes of credible, independently verifiable evidence in order to form a genuine reality based POV. IMO, those folks who take the time to gather a multitude of facts from multiple sources can be secure in the knowledge that their POV more often than not reflects reality. And yes, that may well explain why this thread is an irritant to folks who base their version of reality on myths.
