I would like to see large herds of wild yaks running across the Brooks range. I think they would adapt nicely. Their kind of country.

But the purests would complain.

But I check my thinking against Hunter s. Thompson and I know he would not only have been thrilled, but I'll bet he would have sponsered a fund raiser.

A yak is the short term for a yakushamanum, a rhododendron from the island of Yakushima, Japan. As for viability, they are hardy to minus 25 Fahrenheit
