What would be nice is some uncertainty bands on that graph as it is extended back into history and is all of it from ice cores?

Ice core chart of CO2 and temperature seems beyond rebuttal. The steep dropoffs after peaks in temperature are also interesting. One theory claims that the melting will cause the Atlantic conveyor to stop. I.e, the Gulf Stream will stop. The cooler temperatures in the far northern hemisphere would start another ice age. The chart may support this idea.
