Perhaps you are correct, I just remember a time not too long ago when I saw public demonstrations to remove Syria from Lebanon and they "seemed" very friendly to USA, I wonder if they will be any longer as rightly or wrongly we get thrown in the same kettle as Israel in the minds of middle easterners. Plus, I know many Lebanese and they seem very USA oriented with none of the hangups one sees in fanatical islamics. Sort of a live and let live mentality from my observations. jdn
