Well, I got it all wrong. The lawsuit I heard about was not directed at Harrah's, but at The World Poker Tour. pokernews.com

I agree with the players. They pay their own purses on the WPTE. Yes, getting on tv does help their careers and popularize the game, but it is not cash in their pockets. I don't see how the WPTE can have any rights since these are not paid employees and the WPTE, along with the casino, are just event producers.
