And had Syria and the others not attacked Israel they would not have occupied those territories. I believe Israel offered to return them, and has returned some, on the signing of a permanent peace. That offer was refused as far as I know. Surely a country that beat back an invader has the right to determine what conditions must be fulfilled in order for it's attackers to regain their lost territory. Since the UN can offer no protection to Israel from invasion, why should Israel pay any attention to a toothless tiger. The UN is a dismal failure as far as a peace keeping organization and should be either closed or rebuilt from the ground up. One only has to read of the UN peacekeepers in Africa to know that the UN exists mostly as a place where crooks can gather graft from the various foreign aid projects it almost makes work.

The Palestinians have created a culture in Gaza of hatred. The schools, every day, teach the children hatred. There are news films of Gaza children carrying guns and marching in lockstep, and screaming violence! Gaza's streets are unsafe, crime filled and rat filled. Crime, shootings, lynchings, rapes and torture are common in Gaza. When you teach your children hatred towards others, year after year, decade after decade, and then you have violent, inhumane criminals wandering through your streets, it is your fault!
