"So what do you think will fill the Lebanese vacuum?" No way of telling. Another civil war is probably the most likely, followed by Syria and/or Iran asserting control. Heck, it is even possible that their democracy survives if there is some sort of public backlash against Hezbollah for dragging them into conflict with Israel. I doubt it, but... When interviewed, the Lebanese to a person....... even the Christian Lebanese........have united behind Hezbollah. Israel is creating new terrorists. You don't do what Israel is doing to Lebanon and then expect to command their respect. Just the opposite. Its a disaster.
