Cut and run? Like Reagan did from Lebanon? Redeployment after a failed plan to let the Iraqis handle their own civil war problems is not "cutting and running", it's just long-overdue common sense. One thing is proven, Bush's "stay the course" non-plan is a failure. And the definition of insanity is repeating the same failure over and over expecting a different result. In fact, after three years we don't even control Baghdad. We only control a Green Zone, the airport and a few non trouble spots. Iraq is n ot even a country, it's a fractured chaotic civil war battlezone. Whatever Bush-Cheney were thinking, it's backfired completely. We need new honest leadership not stuck on old failed ideas.
