Who's "we"? Are you Israeli? Don't confuse the US with Israel. That is something neocons do which does not sit well with me. We do not want to be Israel. We cannot be Israel. We are not under nearly the kind of threats Israel's under. Also don't forget Israel was attacked by Hezbollah. we have not been attacked by Syria, Iran, Iraq, Hamas or Hezxbollah. we have only been attacked by Al Qaida, whose leadership is still alive and well. As for cleaning up the Middle East, look at Bush's results. I give him an F. Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Palestinians, Egypt, all more dangerous to us. Bush started out doing the right thing in Afghanistan vs. Al Qaida then fumbled the ball. Osama Bin Laden is still alive and well. Meanwhile we have spent something like a trillion bucks and 25,000 casualties and it is very questionable whether we are safer now than we were in 2001.

American Spirit is incapable of any thought that does not start with or end with a criticism of republicans, conservatives and this Administration. Expecting him to engage in intelligent debate is futile.
