It can't be a gateway because aborted fetuses do not yield embryonic stem cells. It's a biological impossibility.

Bush knows he's wrong on stem cells, what a hypocritical panderer. No one in the world but ignorant nut cases considers stems cells "human lives". And those people only believe it because they have zero scientific education and don't know what they're talking about.

This veto is a huge gift to our competitors and also forces more and more research into the private sector where no ethical standards at all need to be used.
