Regarding your statement "How do you feel about banning fertility treatments? Isn't that a large part of the problem? No fertility treatments, under current law no embryos for stem cells.

No, I do not think it is a "large part of the problem" Those people want to have an embryo/child and will not abort it.
It is not even a a tiny part of the problem. It is NO PROBLEM.

The problem is using abortion as a form of birth control by the people who don't want the result of their actions. This whole issue is a slippery slope that will impact euthanasia and other moral judgements.

Don't get me wrong, I am a huge believer in stem cell research, but being pro-life, I stand squarely on Bush's position. He also is a believer and wants to make every possible effort to support it, but without compromising the sanctity of life or potential life. It is a very doable position that protects the sanctity of life.
