Hitting an Israeli ship with a Chinese-made silkworm missile, believed to be fired by Iranians working with Hezbollah, was a demonstration of the potential of a weapon in Iran's arsenal which they could use or try to use against American or other ships in the Persian Gulf. Raining down 1,000+ missiles on Israel is a demonstration that Iran can do the same to Iraq, Kuwait, or Qatar where the US has military personnel. Hezbollah is showing off what Iran could do or hope to in a conflict over Iran's nuclear weapons development.

What do you mean you didn't hear about 45 minutes to launch and mushroom clouds, why aren't you paying attention?

"And according to the British government, the Iraqi regime could launch a biological or chemical attack in as little as 45 minutes after the order were given."

In case you don't know, mushroom clouds are known to be produced by nuclear weapons. Citing a quote about biological or chemical weapons merely demonstrates your level of confusion.

The other link involves after the fact second-guessing about how far along Saddam's program was. Regardless of how far along it was, there is no doubt whatsoever that Saddam intended to acquire nuclear weapons someday. And his history indicates he wouldn't hesitate to use them in his next military adventure.
