Obviously you haven't been a stay at home mom.

I would have been double and triple billing, with enormous amounts of overtime pay.

The point is that if you are going to ask what is unfair about taking out what each put in, you have got to have some way of assessing what WAS put in. And frankly, I don't think it's as ridiculous as you say. The reason I was insured when the boys were small was to replace me with the housekeeper, nanny, cook, laundress, financial manager if I keeled over from doing those 17 jobs.

And did I ever tell you how I was in labor 457 hours one night?
