........I already have a sufficiently large exposure to AAPL shares....long-time holding (Uncle Sam probably salivating for me to sell and pay cap gains tax)..and I'm not planning to buy any more.

I found it very profitable (and taxable......sigh) on the way up simply to buy calls and roll them forward. Because of the intricacies of timing involved in option trades, not every deal was profitable...but with AAPL's strong uptrend, gains far outpaced losses...

No interest here in other strategies..such as selling calls or puts. I'm pretty simple-minded......and anyway, a devout member of the Church of KISS....vbg
