As long as there is not a wholesale negotiated settlement (lots of money required) or if one side isn't beaten to death, this will likely be the situation for our lifetimes. Why do we have to fund it?

I would like to know how in the world the Israeli ambassador to the UN gets off saying that Israel is doing the job for the rest of the world in fighting WWIII against muslim terrorists. It was a nasty slap in the face and an incredibly arrogant statement.

It's bad enough that the Israeli government believes they are the tail that wags the US dog. It's bad enough that AIPAC and crew are spying on our government. It's bad enough that Dubyette thinks so little of civilians in Lebanon that he thinks that Rice may kinda sort mosey on over there maybe this week.

It's ridiculous and dangerous that Israel thinks it can make decisions that affect 300 million Americans. What in the world has the Bush administration been telling them? What in the world has the Bush administration been promising them?

Is this all so that the ChristocratFascists can vote Republican (against their financial best interests) in order to have Armageddon come about pretty darn soon? Is this just a cynical, Republican sop to their rightwing idiot minions?

Things have become very strange indeed.

Meanwhile, what are we going to do with $4.50/gallon gas when Nebraska - or maybe it was North Dakota - hits 120 in July? ExxonMobil is in a tizzy in its greed. It can't be happier.
