I don't support or justify the burning of Dresden by Britain or the fire-bombing of Tokyo by the Americans. I don't support the Soviet Union executing large numbers of Germans who surrendered. It was that sort of action in previous times that was the fuel for new wars to begin, and how could such inhumanity be justified? If it were me, I would apologize to Germans for the burning of Dresden because it was a war crime. Firebomb Hitler, firebomb his army, do not target civilians and say it is justified.
