Back in the day, during the cold war, the suggestion was made more than once that we put kennedy and krushchev into a ring and let them duke it out rather than subject the world to the constant threat of nuclear terror. Granted kennedy was younger and more fit, but we would have allowed krushchev to bring his shoe into the ring. Perhaps Israel and Hizbollah could settle things in that matter.
