So which is which? For the last couple of months I have been watching an eagle nest on the internet. Two eaglets hatched. One was a runt and nearly didn't get a chance. One parent fed both eaglets but the other fed only the strong one, who naturally shut her brother out. This experience has been interesting in many ways. The activities of the watchers on the message board are as interesting as those of the eaglets. I noticed that there's a subset of watchers who come close to hating the stronger eagle for nothing other than being the stronger.
