it's not hard to imagine how terrorism will grow.

It's not hard to imagine how it will stop either.

These groups work outside the structure of states and countries because they are allowed no control over their lives via states and countries. Look how the IRA calmed down when brought into the govt. Hamas was on that track, but stopped by the neocons. Lebanon was on that track.

The neocons, including the Cheney and Olmert factions, don't really want the terrorism to stop, at least not yet. So long as people are afraid and in a war mentality the neocons have a good chance of holding onto power. This is the same reason Arafat was so reluctant to actually say yes to a peace proposal. Once peace breaks out then the populations will be a lot more concerned about schools and dye in their vegetables and will not be so anxious to have neocon leaders.

The neocons are not done conquering yet, and the last thing they want is for Israel to be surrounded by democracies.

Ted, You don't think moving Israel out of the ME would calm things down?

No. It would only embolden the Islamic extremists and prove to them that might indeed makes right, that if they can't get along with a neighbor, just keep practicing terrorism until the free world cries "uncle."

With what? The terrorists have limited money and power.

Though it's hard to imagine just what target they'll choose next, it's not hard to imagine how terrorism will grow.

Its hard to imagine because you are letting your fears rule you.
