Or we could have just let the threat gather like Bill Clinton did and have another 911 type event.

Saddam gassed 5,000 of his people, like Hitler.
Saddam paid families of suicide bombers 25,000 a head for attacks against Israel Civilians ... I could go on and on.

History will vindicate it.

No more Beirut's and Marines killed without a response.
