There was never a fair and complete recount in Florida. Not even close. That was for five reasons: 1) Gore made a mistake not to demand a statewide recount 2) The machine recount failed to count any under or over votes, equalling hundreds of thousands 3) Bushies did everything they could to delay and interrupt the recounting 4) Bush's pal Scalia was the deciding vote on the SC to stop all recounting even though it was perfectly legal and should have been finished. 5) Katherine Harris called it over and refused to count the Palm Beach or Dade recounts. But above and beyond that, the 57,700 voters scrubbed from the rolls more than stole the election from Gore. As did the thousands of overseas votes which came in for Bush after the election, postmarked after the election, many from supposed "military" sources. Those were all allowed though most were completely illegal and could have been fraudulent.
