How do we get out of thier faces?... Set a goal over time with a stage by stage plan to reach total independence in off shore energy sources. You're not suggesting that energy independence equates to getting out of their faces, are you.

How does buying oil contribute to the slaughter of innocent people? Oil is fungible, if we don't buy ME oil, the Japanese and the Chinese and the EU will, are they killing innocent people? Or just us? Is Al Qaeda somehow standing up for the rights of innocent Arabs? Leaving aside Hezbollah and Hamas, since the Israelis don't have any oil?
