You still haven't figured out how toothless the UN is.

Depends upon the mandate included in the resolution and whether its issued under Chapter VI, or Chapter VII of the Charter.

Desert Storm, as well as the Korean war, were both "UN" authorized military actions, as I also assert that the Operation Iraqi Freedom was under UNSC 1441.

But yeah.. if they don't have a mandate to disarm Hizbullah, then you're quite right..
