The medical connotation is my thinking behind the use of the word "evolution" ... that .... once they place the fertilized eggs in the mother, then Evolution takes over. They can't determine which egg will attach itself and develop (EVOLVE) they hedge their bet by placing multiple. That is why I used the term evolution. Because it is the chance of variable factors beyond the knowledge of the doctors and scientist. Mother nature (Evolution) takes the helm at that point in time. If their were willing hedge funds, they could place calls and puts on which one of the fertilized jewels would make it!!! .... LOL We could open a whole new market!
