Hey if you've seen what we've done to Iraq then you should be VERY afraid if we come after your country!

No. No you haven't. We're fighting that one with one hand tied behind our backs and the gloves on. Look up "World War II". You might get a closer idea.

Keep in mind that by the end of that war there was nothing really worth attacking left in Berlin. All we could do was make the rubble bounce.

And that was with much less effective weaponry than we have now.

The Islamic world often gives the impression to the rest of us that (a) it OWNS the patches of ground it now holds and no one else is welcome, and (b) it intends to convert the rest of us, forcibly if necessary. I realize quite well that is hardly the attitude of all Muslims. I have known and worked with and for reasonable ones and we have reasonable ones on this site, say Rough Cut Gemstone. Nevertheless, there is a rather fanatical faction among you. This is the faction that, without consulting the central Lebanese gov't, took that nation to war.

You can try to force the opinions and beliefs of the rest of us.

But you'd better be ready for the consequences.
