Thanks Allen. I appreciate your comments. You bring up an interesting subject in terms of anti-virus software. If OS X is used exclusively, then it sounds as if anti-virus software is unnecessary. But if one uses Windows on a Mac -- is the computer vulnerable to viruses, spyware, etc as a result? And would anti-virus software as well as a firewall be necessary on a Mac running Windows in addition to OS X? I'm hoping the answer is no, but I have a feeling it might be yes? <g> (I seem to recall this was discussed here before, but I'm not remembering the resolution. Apologies to the thread for the rehash.)
