Islamic fundametalism is the status quo for the Middle East. Of course, to them Israelis are the "true terrorists." Outside of Iraq, who kills more people -- Islamic fundamentalists or Israelis? I don't know the answer, but the fact that I even think the answer might be Israelis when there are 6 million or so Israelis and 300 million Arabs in the ME tells you something, no? In terms of Israel, for every Israeli killed three Palestinians are killed. One needs to understand that terrorism is often the military resort of the weak, and not necessarily any more wrong than military action on the part of the strong. Well said. In addition, what do Lebanese people most likely feel about Israelis bombs........probably absolute terror.

Z, One needs to understand that terrorism is often the military resort of the weak, and not necessarily any more wrong than military action on the part of the strong. Then I really don't see any reason why Israel should have to restrain themselves. Just take over Lebanon, move back into Gaza (if they haven't done it already), then kick every Palestinian out of their newly occupied lands. After all, their enemies won't restrain themselves, so why should they? To ask one side to play by the "rules" while the other side doesn't is morally ambiguous. I don't care who is stronger or weaker, because I wouldn't excuse a poor man from mugging a rich man. Would you? Tenchusatsu
